    Question about student-teacher falling out...

In boxing, mma or any combat sports, what is the biggest reason that falling outs happen.

Also how common is a falling out between a student and a teacher and also has it ever happend to you???

Btw I understand that sometimes there is no good guy or bad guy in a falling out but I am interested to hear about this topic.

    Examples would be:

    floyd mayweather and his dad

In mma one comes to mind is Karo Parisyan and his childhood judo sensei goku chivicuyan

The fall out usually happens after a loss. hatton split with Billy Graham after losong to Floyd Mayweather and after losing to Pacman split with Mayweather Snr. Kessler dumped his coach after losing to Ward. I have seen several boxers quit their coaches after losing.

I was with my coach for 2 years until he told me he's gonna start charging me $25/day. I was training almost 6 days a week. No way that I was gonna pay him $150 a week. Now I'm at a different gym where I pay $60/month.

I have left two coaches. First one did not teach anything, just made you spar everyday. Second one I left was trying to get me to use my jab all match long. But I'm much more of an aggresive fighter. My jab just sets stuff up, he wanted me to jab to a point victory. Just not me.

          Damn that sucks!!!

My coach is good so far but I have noticed his losing more and more interest in coaching other boxers even though he his an awesome coach.

2 years ago when I started out he was The Man, he had so much passion and drive to teach and very clever creative ways but he seems like his fed up with teaching and getting less and less enthusasitic about it.
