is this accurate? should I be taking pointers from this?

Trying to cut out any junk in my diet and this looks pretty good, but thought i'd ask the experts

There's really nothing revolutionary there, but yes it's a good plan for you to take pointers from.

Complex carbs for energy, lean meat for protein to help muscle recovery, no high sugar/fat junk foods, natural foods instead of processed. That's basic stuff right there for any athlete.

It says make sure you have 8-10 glasses of water per day. Drink alot more than that. 8-10 is reccommended for a normal person (or maybe it's 6-8). A boxer will sweat out a lot more than a normal person with all the running and training you do.

Aim for a gallon per day atleast.

"Eat as much nutritional food as possible: food such as fruit, vegetables, brown rice and pasta contains lots of useful vitamins, minerals and fibre which allow the body to function as effectively as possible. Dieticians recommend that 25 to 35 grams of a boxer’s daily intake should be classified as high fibre."

This is the most important paragraph in that entire thing which most people including boxers don't truly understand. Everything you eat should have nutritional value, if it doesnt, it's useless. And if you prepare something wrong, your basically destroying all of its nutritional value.

Such as instant oatmeal, its bull****. To make it instant everything good in it is destroyed in the preparation process.

McCanns oatmeal should be your best friend. Slow cook it, put some brown sugar, fruit, almonds, and you got as good a breakfast as you can ask for. You can also buy things like Flaxseed powder which will boost your fiber levels to what they should be in one meal.
