It's a weight gain supplement, and it's not useful in boxing.

It's dangerous for anyone boxing. Best avoided.

It's good for gaining weight and strength. I personally didn't experience any negative side effects, but I know of others who have. If you're looking to gain weight and/or strength quickly, combine a 1-month creatine-period with hard training in the gym and you will most likely experience an increase. If you're thinking about trying it, I'd advise you to read everything you can come across first.

The weight you gain while on Creatine is simply water weight. It is very hard on your kidneys, so make sure you are drinking water in excess while you are on it. Avoid caffiene while on Creatine.

I've used the stuff off and on, there were no real side effects. It simply makes your muscles heal faster and enables you to workout (lift heavy weights) everyday.

I would consider using it as a boxer only to gain strength. The size you gain will go away once you stop taking Creatine because the increase in size is simply water in your muscles.

Also, if you are going to take Creatine, take it in cycles. 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. You will also need 3-5 days for a loading period for each cycle, where you take excessive amounts of it, (anywhere from 10-25 grams) then after that you take 5 grams a day.

Now, and this is the most important part, DO NOT TAKE CHEAP Creatine. Cheap brands of Creatine have higher rates of impurities, which can cause issues. You need to ONLY take 99% pure or better creatine. There is a German company I used to get mine from that was 99.9% pure.

There is no significant proof that taking caffeine while on creatine is inadvisable. You will lose water weight in your muscles once you stop taking creatine, but creatine allows you to work out harder and longer while you're on it so there will be significant gains in muscle not attributed to water weight.

depending on what type of creatien you take. i took celltech for 9 months and had huge gains and transformed my body, check the pic to the left. but if you don't use protien like nitrotech then you'll just be watered down. the protien will keep your muscle hard and you won't lose much strength when you wheen off the **** cause just like one of the other posters on here said, too much creatien without the proper water intake can mess your kidneys up.

I've been using creatine for a while but I'm stopping right now to avoid any possible water retention I might have to try to make weight. It really helps with energy, it gives you that extra boost when you are working out. If you aren't trying to make weight right now, I would suggest try using gaspari nutrition's sizeon. You can get it at bodybuilding.com and it works pretty well IMO
