Can't blame you for getting wild, it's your first fight, I did the same thing and so do most people.

But I know that's not what you do in the gym, sparring, pads, bags, etc. There is a point to training. Do what you do in training. Throwing wild shots like that won't get the job done against better competition and will just tire you out.

But again, I understand it was your first fight. Hopefully now that it's out the way you'll start relaxing more in the ring and doing what you learn at the gym.

    good job though

All I can say is that was the worst referee I've ever seen in my life.

Good work mate. What weight are ya? Who do ya box for? Tip- Do NOT go southpaw he landed a good number of jabs and you landed nothing in southpaw. Also, shorten your punches. Mix it up a bit too. All you were was a wild right hand.

Ref was wank. Kids glove touched the ground and nothing calls break and looked scared to step in. Worst I have EVER seen.

The ref was a joke mate. Your opponent was given a few extra seconds to recover after each 8 count and I think on the 2nd count the ref gets to 2 and then takes a second or two to tell you to go to the corner and then says 3.

And I can imagine it was mostly down to nerves but alot of your punches were so wide you'd have been picked apart by somebody more experienced. Just try to keep your composure and dont get dragged into a brawl

Watched a bit of the vid. You obviously have a good natural punch, even with sloppy footwork and wild swings you still obviously pack a good punch so that is encouraging.

Try and keep your chin down when punching, try and tighten up your punches also, and don't swing for the fences ever, like it's a streetfight or something. Bring your hands back to your face when punching too. Just keep working on your technique overall.

But really, the short bit I saw wasn't too bad for a first fight, virtually everyone is wild the first time out. Just keep training, working on your composure, and cleaning up your technique. If your coach can tidy you up a bit you might make a pretty good fighter with your obvious strength and power.
