  • Pain problems trying to loose weight?

Every time i go down weight, be it from training, diet or very soft exercise, i seem to get repeatedly intense joint and back pains along with heavy tiredness/depression, Had some blood tests made and all the results show all values are good, yet i feel like **** in general.

Anyone else had these symptoms when getting fitter or loosing weight? I get them EVERY time i decrease and goes back to normal once i reach the old weight or higher.

I'd say the problem is nutrition. Happened to a friend of mine, a good nutritionist solved it. It happened he wasn't feeding what the body needed.

Not sure it'll help, but if your losing weight is always paralel to change in your diet it could be a lead.

You're probably just not eating enough, and burning off way more than you are taking in. That will cause you to feel tired and slow. It can also cause the depression because you just feel like crap and you cant train and do the things you want to do.

Add a bit more to your diet until you find a balance of not eating too many calories so you don't lose weight, but still eating enough so you have energy to train.

There's another thread on here called 'help with a diet' where I posted my diet that I'm currently using to lose weight. Maybe that will help you out.

Coeco, if you aren't changing your diet when you lose weight, what are you changing? Are you exercising more? If you are exercising more to lose weight then you need to eat more so your body has fuel to burn. It's a fine balance of getting enough healthy food for your body to stay energized and not get burnt out and not so much that your body starts storing the extra food as fat.
