    How To Increase Stamina!!!!

    Hi,

Following up on previous thread, Joined Boxing Gym, Need Advice.

I tend to get tired quickly when completing certian drills.

Any advice how to work on your stamina.

    Thanks

From someone who recently came back to physical activities, I know what you're talking about. I had no problems doing the drills, but I wouldn't last for ****. 3 minutes of sparring and I was almost dead eheheh.

    What's working for me:
    - Running: simple, effective but extremely painful to mantain a routine.

    - Weightlifting: stronger muscles gotta help, right? In a good gym, with a personal trainer (if you can pay for that).

The 2 optionms above plus the boxing classes put me in good shape. I can go through boxing class as well as (and better sometimes) every other student.

Running is good. Jumping roping improves your vo2 and at the same time builds endurance with many muscles throughout your body.
