What gloves are best for the Heavy Bag

i'm thinking of getting new gloves to replace my Everlast pro style (the beginner's gloves)

i was wondering if sparring gloves would do the job

i also wanted to know if the Ringside IMF's were good

    response is appreciated

I wouldn't go with sparring gloves. There's a reason there are different styles of gloves, lol. I really like the Ringside IMF gloves though, my gym has a lot of pairs of them for everyone to use. But unfortunately I don't have my own, so I don't know the how the quality and materials will last. I have some Rival RB1's, and honestly, they are the best gloves I've ever had. They feel great, the mesh and materials it's made of cools your hands great and is extremely comfortable. It also hasn't had any wear or tear since I got them, almost a year ago.

nice nice....i pretty much want gloves that help you land on your knuckles because my Everlasts sometimes make me crunch up my fingers inside the glove

If you want good gloves with the heavy bag get everlast super bag gloves and if you want good gloves for bag and sparring get Everlast lace-up professional training gloves they are 100 but trust me they are worth it, atleast they were for me.

I got the 10oz and 16oz Hayabusa gloves. :wank:
The 10oz are bag gloves but i kinda don't want to use them on the bag. I like them too much.
That's why i bought those heavy bag gloves with no padding on the thumb. They're pretty cheap (30 bucks) but the foam is very dense, so they're perfect for the heavy bag.
I also got myself some MMA gloves and am using them on the heavy bag as well.

The Elite Bag Gloves do have a grip hose, it is just softer than other brands. My son uses these gloves and loves them!
