I'm taking the Amplified wheybolic extreme protein supliment which has about 60 grams of protein and has 250 calories with three scoops and some pills for energy called amplified muscle igniter...are these bad? I've been taking them for almost a month I do feel stronger and can notice my abs starting to show up in the core but it has a sort of bloating affect...the amplified muscle igniter works pretty good I feel pumped up to run after two pills 30 minutes to an hour before working out...I now weigh about 164 I did gain about 5 pounds but I got faster...and I never took a protein supliment before so it must be muscle weight I gained....I consume about 2500 durring workout days which is the same day I take my protein shake...I workout for three hours every other day cuz of my schedule...Are these bad supliments that I am taking or are there better recommended ones out there for boxing?

And as far as protein you can only really store 20 to 30 grams at a time. All that extra stuff is going to waste.
Honestly dude, just eat as healthy as possible, nothing can substitute eating the right foods. Personally I started getting into the whole "juicing" thing. I go to a place once a day and have them blend up a bunch of fruits and veggies for me and it gives me everything I need.
For example a lot of people who work out hard don't realize how much damage they do to their cell walls. But Ginger, being an anti inflammatory repairs them. Foods like this should be in everyones diet, especially athletes. You won't find anything at GNC that is better than good organic food, no matter what they tell you.

yeah I'm just looking for supliments for boxing not really lifting...I train with light weight lifting and my own body weight though...
