getting Wisdom Teeth pulled

I'm getting my teeth pulled soon and I was wondering if this can have any negative effects. it seems like it could affect your ability to take a shot because it leaves 4 big spaces in your jaw that were before sealed. so what are your experiences with getting wisdom teeth out?

I heard once you do it...your teeth (Top and Bottom) will begin to grow crooked and get all ****ed up...I"m 25...not planning on doing it.
