Both sugar in the form of glucose and salt (actually sodium) are needed to promote healthy homeostasis (balance of bodily functions).

Can you get a little more specific for arguments sake?

because honestly you're going a little too far with this , eat what you want just go all out in the gym and you'll see results , only when trying to make weight i suggest cutting back on some foods but other than that have fun with it!!!

Number one, may you be smited by the grammar hammer, because you just said Bernard Hopkins does eat junk food in that case, but that is not the point.

The real point is, considering your top 10 in your signature, and Bernard Hopkins not being on there, wouldn't you think that a mentally strong athlete who does allow themselves the freedom to do what they think is beneficial or "fun" (like the occasional mcflurry) would have a better edge than someone who lives, basically an ascetic lifestyle, with the only logical benefit being 500 less calories needed to be burned off a week?

You are quite the amazing person in my eyes, I could not imagine that. But then again food played a huge role in my family. Damn you genetics, your ways are twisted!

...Did you get the joke? Genetics are twisted, because DNA is twisted, because of the double helix form.......yeah......
