He lost to Andrew Selby of the UK on decision in Norfolk. Did he move up after this bout?

      I'm not sure.

In October the 119lb division was terminated. It now goes 114 to 123. The 125 pound division where I fought was also terminated.

Rosa Jr. won the regional golden gloves finals but I was faaaaaar from impressed. I could beat this kid.

Toka Khan has some skill, but I highly doubt anyone would be ducking him. He does not look like he has much power at all, and most of his punches are arm/slap from everything I've seen.

Why did you not fight in the gloves last year?

He's good man, and he's been developing more power. People forgot he's only like 16 years old, maybe 17 now. He looked real strong last time I seen him fight (but he looked more sloppy than usual). He would school Luis Rosa Jr. in my opinion. And a kid from my gym blatantly ducked him although he won't admit it. They were supposed to fight a few weeks ago and he backed out, claimed he slipped on ice and hurt his arm or something....

Dude, I'm not meant to fight in the Golden Gloves lol. Last year I fought in Atlanta like 1 week before the Golden Gloves over here and had a concussion (I won the fight but had a bad headache for like 3 days after and I found out I had a slight concussion). I think it's cause when I was in Atlanta I sparred like everyday for 3 weeks with everyone from beginners, open fighters, every weight class, professionals, older dudes gettin in shape, female kickboxers lol I sparred so much up until my fight which was a hard fight and then I was sparring the next morning. After that sparring session is when my head felt ****ed. I came home and signed up for the Golden Gloves but the doctor wouldn't clear me to fight and said I needed at least a month off with no training.

and this year......was a disaster I don't even want to talk about it but I was never able to sign up and I was too much over weight anyway.

That sucks about your training and what not. Yea I know he is a young kid. When I saw him in the gloves last year he didn't look all that good though. While he was slick, he threw a ton of arm punches and alot of slaps. I'm sure he is and has worked on that, and if he keeps at it he will turn out to be pretty good.

Yea he was punching real hard with his right hook last time I seen him, he rocked his opponent a couple times with it. But I'm kinda with you in saying he's not THAT good. But I can't talk, he's accomplished more than me going to the finals in nationals and what not.

                  Well It's simple.

                  We both enter a tournament.

If we both keep winning, we eventually fight.

Most likely only have to win 1 or 2 fights in a New England tournament at most and that's if we won't meet in the first round.

This aint the pros man. I don't have to negotiate with his promoter lol and talk about money.

Alright cool. Boxers at his standard who are in the national squads don't usually take fights on club shows due to fear of a defeat and losing there places. But tournament yeah I can see that happening. Good luck bro.

There is no point loss at club shows. They are not nationally ranked shows nor tournaments which you would gain points, so you would not loose them either.
