    Bloodnose

I had my first bleeding nose yesterday after i got hit twice at it, i wasnt feeling to happy seeing my own blood and realising after doing boxing for 6 months i still cant get hit like that.
I do keep my hands up all the time but the im getting hit when im punching, how can i protect myself from punches when im hitting?
And anyone else had any similiar experience?

Bring your hands back to your face in between punches. And also throw in some headmovement between shots.

You know somehow I've never got a serious nose bleed, and I got a decent sized nose. Always used to worry about it getting smashed.

Defense is something that took me a long time to develope, so just keep working at that. I used to always focus on punching, and never defense. Always try to refine your stance and perception of distance, practice blocking, parrying, swatting jabs, and of course work on head and foot movement.

It takes time to get the feel for it, defense is a whole art in and of itself.

Also, at 6 months, I got hit by every shot thrown at me. Hating being hit is a good start.
