I dunno dude, but in boxing you just need to train hard and prepare yourself mentally however it works for you.

If I know a day in advance I'm sparring I'll watch some boxing before I go in, and before I get in the ring I think about my technique and what I want to do.

Boxing is REALLY mental. No one likes the running or the sit ups, and no one likes getting hit, but if you prepare yourself mentally before hand, you'll get it done.

you haven't made it until you have acquired a pack of haters. Consider yourself on your way. Plus drop the loser if he doesn't change his tone.

when im not feeling the best mentally i love to get down to the gym. you dont really have an oppurtunity to worry about that kinda stuff and feel all the better for it afterwards. Thats just my opinion, hope it helps =]

but right now, my mind is getting screwed from behind because of what my friend said to me today.

he said i was slow at running, he said i was gay, he said i was ugly and so on

and i know that i'm a man, and i have to be tough, but sometimes when a Friend says something like what he said to me-it gets to me

and right now i don't feel like training at all after today even though i've been pretty consistent in the past week

              i wanted your thoughts
Ask the ***** to spar with you then we'll see who's a real *****

mental prep goes a long, long way. when fighting or sparring, i found it best to be neither too involved or too uninvloved.

and, being in the moment goes a long way too. too much worry or stress will wear you out. but being too relaxed will make it harder to kickstart a boxing mentality.

                  perfect balance, man.

                    Ask him to spar.

When your hitting him with triple jabs, and double left hooks, ask him whos slow now.

After your done beating his ass, with a bloody nose, busted lip an black eye, tell him, damn your uglier then me now.

And after that conversation, ask him, damn if a gay dude just beat your ass, what does that make you?
