@fdotorres Do you recommand the 16oz for sparring, are they any good? I heard they are like pillows, I don't hit hard enough as it is.

I am going to get a Winning FG-5000 headgear (nomore sharing headgear) and some 16oz gloves in two weeks when I get paid from work.

i use my 16oz for sparring. yes, they won't make you hit hard, but i've never really needed other gloves to keep people off of me

you could always get 14 ouncers to add a bit of speed and pop

it all depends man. the velcros are basically the same gloves with a bit less wrist protection. i always have my trainer looking out for me, so i always use laceups. still, they are the best gloves out there, laceup or velcro

great gloves my 2nd fav to grant though. i went everlast, ringside, reyes, winning, and stopped on grant. winnings were the best i had up to that point but i fell in love with grant. first time i put them on it felt like they had been worn in already but were brand new.

what size are your grants?? i thought about going for a pair of grant 10oz, since i've heard they're on par with winning on those, but decided to avoid the risk

                    lol i know, i'm a puss
