    Rival Boxing Gear

I am in the market for my first headgear and sparring gloves 14oz. I have been doing a lot of research online and realize that Winning appears to be the best, but I do not want to spend that much, nor do want to get something too cheap. I have my eye on Rival Boxing training gloves and head gear. I just think their equipment is really stylish and appears to be good quality. I also figure Russ Anber would not produce cheap stuff. He is a class act and an exceptional trainer. Anybody have any experience with Rival equipment? How about Fighting Sports? Any suggestions out there? Thanks Fellas!

I've got Rival headgear (the one that is solid black, can't remember it's model #), sparring gloves, bag gloves, foul protector and handwraps. I have so much because I live in Canada and it's a Canadian company so we can order from them and not have to pay rediculous shipping and customs fees like we do when we order from ringside or title.

Only problems I have is the velcro on the handwraps wore out faster than other brands so I have to tape them up when I wear them for fights, and they should have made the lining on the headgear waterproof so it doesn't absorb water and sweat. I don't think this is a problem with their more expensive headgear because they used a different material on the inside.

    Real good stuff overall though.
