^^^ Says it all eh?
I was sparring on Monday night and feeling pretty good considering the food and drink I caned over crimbo. I'd also lined up a bout for the end of the month. A few rounds in I twisted my leg and my boot stuck to the floor causing my right knee to completely fall to bits. What a complete and utter bstrd eh!!! I am completely devestated, so devestated infact that my vocabulary can't convey it.
So.... I was taken to hospital in an ambulance and with the help of loads of morphine they rove it back into place and asked me to return to see the doctor in the morning. The next day I was referred to see a "specialist" on Friday (yesterday) After 5 mins of this "specialist" fannying around looking uninterested and not knowing what to do with me, he sent me straight to the physio!?!?! Who gave me some basic exercises to start...this has completely destroyed my knee, it is 3x more swollen than it was and much more painful. I should say also that I haven't even had an MRI scan yet to check for cartilage damage.
I have never been so annoyed in my life with the NHS. I feel like I've basically been fobbed off to get me out of the clinic!!
Anybody been in the same boat or got any advice?? Thanks Chris
