Wats up Boxing Scene ? Im sitting here 24 hours before my first. Im not nervous or anything because the show is going to be in my gym and i am really familiar with the ring. My big concern is if i should eat before weigh-in's which is like 3 or 3 1/2 hours before my fight or eat after weigh in's. Im asking this because im supposed to be fighting at 160 but my coach told me its okay to go in at 162 or 163 and im 164 after having supper. also any advice about times of dieting before training will help alot since that seems to be my biggest problem.

Don't dehydrate as suggested in post above. That would just be ****** as you're not cutting and have a short rehydration window and will be weakening yourself for nothing.
Just eat reasonably, get some carbs and a bit of protein in before weigh in, then make sure you have a good carb load up after weigh in, 2 - 2 1/2 hrs directly before the fight. Have a banana or 2 there to nibble on closer to the match, within an hr for the sugar boost.
