ello ello , just wondered if anyone had similar kinda thing or know of anything to sort it out. whenever i throw punches a bit hard or throw a flurry in shadow boxing, i sort of get lower back twinges and wondered weather its best to exercise the back more or less or more torso and whats the best way to go about it.

Yep buddy your in luck I just got rid of mine .What it was .All the fitness I was doing was getting me fitter and stronger .Strengthining the major muscles and that was putting to much stress on lower back .You probably just need a couple of good lower back stretches .3 good stretches done the trick for me .Hams and lower back.First video explains the problem I had
Work on these stretches as well .The first one gets all the lower back muscles flexible .Once you can do it good .Flexing right push through at the lower back , hips
The other stretch was just standing .One leg in front of the other about 90 degrees .1 leg in front of spine and other one back .Then slightly relax and bend legs slightly and just push through at hips , top of butt , glutes so you can feel the stretch at the lower back directly at the spine.Last edited by alza1988; 04-12-2011, 10:48 AM.
