Unfortunately, there is a very good chance they will not be having a Northern California Golden Gloves this year. They are thinking of just having it lumped under California, although it would suck to have to travel all the way to San Diego.

Boxing is dying

I just got done talking with Nor Cal USA Boxing Official Mark Aranzamendez. He told me that 2010 Nor Cal Golden Gloves are tentatively scheduled for Feb 23-27 and will be hosted by Mateen's Boxing Club in Sacramento.

Once the date is official, look for it to be posted on the Nor Cal website:
