His footwork is all over the place, he keeps going from southpaw to orthodox, he needs to develop a cover guard, he holds his hands too wide, needs to bring them in tighter, he throws wild, incorrect punches with his chin up.

Reminds me very much of myself when I was with my old (****) trainer. The boy shouldn't have been in the ring TBH, against a decent fighter he would get hurt and his confidence would get ruined.

Just work on his cover guard (hands and elbows in tight, chin down, eyes on opponent) for defence, have him hold his hands in tighter when on the offence, work on keeping his chin down, and get the footwork sorted, he needs to choose southpaw or orthodox, and he needs to stay on the balls of his feet and not bring them together.

That said, I can see potential in the kid, even the most talented can look like **** when they haven't been trained properly, he reminds me a lot of myself before I started getting trained properly, not saying I'm really talented or good or anything, just the build and the level of skill were similar to when that wackjob was training me.
