for me it's people who don't engage. they just wait for you to throw and JAB... you move around and then throw.. JAB.. it just pisses me off too much. i know what i need to do and im more than capable of doing it, but i just get annoyed and end up slugging on the inside to try and amass some form of payback.

I can't stand aggressive fighters, but they are usually fine once you back them up. I find switching to southpaw seems to help, avoiding the jab whilst moving to the right and popping off right hooks from that stance works wonders.

              .
Agreed. I found its a right hook but you leave it out there and push them away in a way. Can also, follow it up with a straight left from the southpaw stance.

Tall fighters who are good at staying outside.

Pressure fighters who never stop coming forward and never stop trowing punches. Fighting them frustrates me and tires me. Most of them do not punch hard but their pure energy is exhausting. I need to learn how to relax when I fight these guys because I get tensed up when I do.

That's the key. I got a gym mate who is also one of my best friends, and he has the same problem, he gets tense and loses composure when he is pressured, and this had led to him compiling a losing record in his first few fights, despite the fact he is quite a good boxer with good power.

When I get pressured I just relax, I just try and stay mobile, keep the jab pumping, or if they are cutting me off and coming in close just cover up and don't let anything through my guard. This isn't the pros where they score for aggression, if you are just covering and not getting hit you are fine (as long as you aren't completely passive, you gotta fight back) so sometimes I just cover, take punches on my guard or slip and duck under a few, then let go with the counters as he has left himself open.

Key is just to relax. Most of these pressure guys go all out with no skill for a round or two then fade right out, especially in your first 5-6 fights before the comp starts picking up.
