      sucks for you.

Do you warm up for about 5 mins every time you play foot ball?

      do you wear cleats?

shoes with them Spi kes in them. you know helps you stop start turn when your running on grass. people that run alot on grass tend to remain flat footed to increase traction being flat footed also causes shin splints or pain in your shins. by wearing cleats you run more naturally while maintaining traction and have less shin problems.

Just get some of your pee on a rag and rub your legs down with it a few times. The nutrients in your urine will help curb the pain and help with recovery time

you have to let your shins heal; sound exactly like splints.

you need time off - 2 weeks is good recovery time for this condition.

also, the pee thing does help, too.

try running on a softer surface like grass, you are probably running on cement like a chicken with no head on,that can cause shin pain,so get a good pair of jogging shoes and find a soft grass to run on
