Just got my pair TITLE GelŪ Intense Bag Gloves (12 oz) and used them at the gym today. They're nicely constructed, they fit well and the hand protection is pretty solid. I had been using a cheap pair of Title bag gloves that were free with my gym membership and the difference between the two gloves is night and day. My only criticism is that they seem 'pillowy' and seem bigger than the 12oz stated weight. Maybe it takes some time to get used to the different gloves...

Any thoughts on the "Pro" brand heavy bags....I've recently seen vids of Pac and Ortiz hitting those heavy bags for some of their latest fights.

Anyone has ever had a few rounds on those bags, are they easier on your hands, what's the hype on them?

          Asics Boxing Shoes?

Anyone know where you can get a pair of hightop Asics boxing boots? I'm not talking about the wrestling shoes but boxing boots. Do they still make them? I know they use to make them way back when. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Can i use these gloves for sparing as well? -->http://www.ringside.com/ringside/gra...-gloves-8.html

These ones actually say "pro boxing sparing gloves" --> http://www.ringside.com/ringside/gra...gloves-12.html

The pro sparing ones are a little bit more expensive so I was wondering if I can use the other ones which cost only 100.

ive never used grants mate but they are supposed to be top stuff, the cheaper of the two gloves only come in 8 ounce,no one in my gym would be allowed to spar with 8 ounce gloves not sure about yours

go for the second option in 16 ounce

Yeah, 16 ounce is what I'm getting and you are right, they only come in 8 oz. Didn't notice that. Thanks!

Buy the Ringside IMF tech 18oz(if you are 135 or above) 16oz if you are 134 or lower, for sparring they are the 2nd best sparring gloves behind winnings, and they are only $70.

I'm looking for gloves that let me make a closed, tight fist. Any suggestions?
