What exactly are the risks that his opponent is taking? It's not like the OP is going to be any better of a boxer by taking steroids.

          skillset? no...

but one fighter being roided up for a fight can be quite dangerous to the other opponent

Other than being stronger and having more endurance. I don't see anything else that he would have over his opponent.

But people over-power and outlast their opponents all the time, without the use of steroids.

He would simply be taking a shortcut to gain that edge. But that wouldn't be any less or more dangerous had he been stronger and in better shape without them.

It's because of these people that steroids are banned and frowned upon and people who use them for legit reasons have to go through hell to get them.

thats HUGE in a fight though...

its like this, if its ok for all to use, then fine... im all for it... but to use it while the other isnt, or at least the other is not knowing that you are using it, well there's an issue there...

Because the responsible majority will get penalized for the irresponsibly minority.

And it's because of that reason steroids are banned and frowned upon and people who use them for legit reasons have to go through hell to get them.
the unfortunate thing is, thats the case with everything... look at all things "illegal" its because of bull**** immaturity and irresponsibility...

it doesnt matter how many times millions do something correctly and safely, its how many times ****tards **** it up...

                      its sad but true
