i've personally found gel wraps to be very unreliable. gel knuckle pads in between the wraps is much more effective, durable, and protective IMO
maybe the cleto reyes ones are better than mine. the everlast ones are pure ****, that's all i know

Just keep using them.. Gloves are tightly intact when new, they just need to be used a bit more.
