How many fights do you have? Doesn't matter if they 'count' or not, if they're USA boxing ones or other. How many times have you been in the ring against an opponent, with a referee and judges?

Also, not smart to skip a fight just because it doesn't count towards your official total. A fight is a fight, and you should try and get as much experience as you can.
Agreed. Also, how many times did the guy have to drop 'it takes a special guy to be a trainer' crap. I think the expense of fuel for journey's should be met by the people putting on the show, or the parents of the kids who want to box. Everyone else but the coach! What kind of job offer is this, asking for an 'old man' coach who is suppose to put up the fuel bill too!

Like I've said 100 times, too much talkin' and not enough training and fighting. I've dealt with mega egos in the gym, all talk once they get hit in the nose good. First thing you'll need to learn is some respect in this sport. These "old men" as you call them have grown through their years in the sport that you are walking into all wet behind the ears looking for their guidance. Next, if they had a scrap in the park with 16oz gloves and not charging an admission price its just like sparring. In my time I would have never passed on that experience, "it didnt count on my record....", whatever. I just liked to throw. Im not even from the area and I could find when the matches are in your area. Tis the season my boy, when the snow falls the fists tend to fly more often. If you want it you'll find it, that is if you really want it................Rockin'
