    ABA Fight Glove Weight??

    Bonjour all!

I've got my first fight on Nov 28th and I would like to know what weight gloves I will be boxing with. Does weight/age come into it at all? If so I'm 23, 70kg, 5'9

    Thanks!

USA boxing is 10oz for 152 and under, and 12oz for 165 and up.

It's usually 10oz but can depend on the organisation of the tournament you're fighting at... for my first fight we were fighting in 12oz, 14 for the higher weight classes.

Basically at a domestic level tournament it'll probably be 10oz but could vary. At state/national/international level it will be 10oz gloves in accordance with AIBA rules.

Yeah it's always 10 oz, sometimes in exhibitions they wear 16 oz
