    throw aiming for the chest always hits the chin is this a myth?

    ???? I hit people the chest all the time which is fine, it still hurts.

      No I'm saying if I throw a punch aiming for the upper chest, the punch almost always land on the chin. Myth?

        I have never heard of it being a myth, but I hAve heard of aiming for the chest when throwing 1s or 12s. To my knowledge I'm assuming that the reason one would do this is to anticipate your opnent sitting down a little in their stance to absorb a hit better. By aiming below the chin you are pretty much aiming at where their chin will be when they absorb your punch. Anyone else?
