im no expert but, i think it was pretty good for your third fight. heres some things i noticed at a quick glance...no uppercuts thrown at all, you guys seem super slow, & in the last round you started walking around - work on footwork.
i cant imagine what my first fight is gonna look like haha, but your friends would be awesome to have cheering me on. you got some vocal support there, that would hype me up. ricky hatton has like 30,000 of those kinds of fans, great kind to have.
Im not trying to diss or anything, but I think those were the slowest punches Ive ever seen. Youre strictly throwing punches with empty fists, try to put your body into it.
You can not be 23? What weight are you? You should be throwing some hooks and uppercuts that would have got him outta there. Good work tho your opponent wasnt up to much tho.
omg i was nervous and tired as the fight got on, gave him two standing counts so dont see the big issue with power? also this was my 3rd fight not my 30th.
and i box at feather weight and ty for all the comments
you won the fight i dont disagree with you there well done, but i am just preparing for my first fight and no disrespect at all but im much sharper than that, infact watching that gave me no worries at all about my 1st fight. Good fight well done but if you want to keep on winning, keep training
No snap. No speed. Pushing punches. Slappy hooks. From both of yas.
Seriously, you need to reconsider working your training or something. Generally try not to be negative with a fight, but I think you need to hear this criticism.
Start considering explosive tabata protocol workouts, in both running and bodywork. When on the bag, every punch you throw...you need to say in your head SNAP. Every time. Every single time. And hopefully doing these things will help you evolve these weak points which are fairly obvious to most. And then bring that to sparring. And to then matches.
Kudos to you for getting in there and doing your best. But I assume you want to do even better, so please take this as a trying to help comment.
