Do Ectomorphs need to go on diet?

I was just wondering cuz im one of those people who can eat all they want and not get fat. But if i went on a diet wouldn't that make me super thin since i am already thin. My only problem is the layer of fat on my tummy...any help would be appreciated tnx.

If you want a six pack, you should go on a diet. Also, if you want to box competitively, you want to try to be at the lowest weight you can be without sacrificing strength, so you might need to diet for that as well.

I was wondering ths aswell, Ive been training for a while and I feel if I dont eat alot of food before and after training that Im just going to wither away. Ive always been slim and have always found it almost impossible to put on weight (although I have managed it in the past on high calorie diets).

Basically my metabolism is really really high and I know that I dont need to go on a diet, but I was just wondering if its ok for me to eat high fat bad food like takeaways and such, not worried about getting fat, because that wont happen even if I ate takeaways every day, but just wondering how takeaways will affect my training. Obviously I wont be eating a takeaway before training, but sometimes after training I cant be arsed to faff around cooking

if you diet (properly) you'll lose weight and box smaller guys and win more. So yes.
