  • 40 KG Olympic weight plate (hammer curls)

    Hi everyone's,

    I just wanted to know your thoughts on what I've been doing.

    So I've been hammer curling 40 kg weight plate with slots for hands, i let the weight hang down below my belly button with my arms fully stretched and then i curl it upwards halfway to my chest, i do 100 reps in sets of 10 using a supinated grip using BOTH HANDS

    i do progressive overload as i started with a 20-kilo weight plate and slowly added more weight to it by using smaller weights and using cable ties to strap onto the initial 20 kilo weight plate...

    i have gotten a lot stronger but not seen noticeable muscle gain and i don't get DOMS either,

    thoughts?

    Ps, sorry i meant a plate curl not a hammer curl
