  • Managing Recovery Time Between Intense Sessions – What Works for You?

    Hey everyone,

Lately I've been pushing my training harder than usual – 5 to 6 days a week with a mix of heavy bag work, sparring, and conditioning drills. I'm starting to feel the fatigue setting in, especially on back-to-back intense days.

One thing I’ve been experimenting with is adjusting recovery time more precisely between sessions. I realized I was often just “going by feel” without actually calculating how much rest I was giving my body, especially between morning and evening workouts. I started logging rest windows and found that tracking exact time gaps (like 16 or 18 hours between sessions) made a noticeable difference in how fresh I felt the next day.

As a small side note, I found this time calculator tool that’s actually helped me be more mindful of recovery timing when planning my schedule. Nothing fancy, but useful for quickly seeing time between two training sessions or rest blocks.

Curious – how do you guys manage your recovery between tough sessions? Do you go by 24h cycles, listen to your body, or have a structured plan? Would love to hear your approach.

    Stay sharp!
