  • i probably tell you about my first day at the gym a couple weeks ago.lol.

so, i went to mendez boxing in nyc for a free session, to see what it was like, and i gotta say, i have alot of respect for anyone who decides to take up the "sport".

my training session went as followed...

first the trainer made me jump rope.and it was hilarious.little girls would have laughed at the way i was jumping rope for the first minute.after that i got the hang of it, and did well.

then the trainer wrapped my hands and had me shadow box with light weights, know shadow boxing is easy money for me cause I've been shadowboxing since i was a kid to improve my fighting technique.so yeah, i looked better than a ****ing pro at that.who doesn't look good fighting air.

after that i hit the pads, 1-2, followed by a squat for about 3 minutes twice.that **** hurt.then he sent me to the heavy bag, obviously, i kicked the **** out of that , but than the speedbags made me look like i was fighting mayweather.needless to say i need to get the hang of the speed bags.

after that he had me do some sit ups, and called it a day.

all in all i enjoyed it. the pain, the sweat was fun, and i think I'll be doing it consistently for a workout.

about the gym: it was small(which i kinda liked cause it wasn't crowed) and the monthly rate is pretty expensive (almost 200 dollars a month) the trainer was a cool cat, but i don't think he's the kinda guy that would benefit me if i where to try and do it as an amateur.

anyway, i think i look for another more reasonably priced gym.

Yea, 200 is kind of expensive.

I use to pay like 35 a month at one gym and then 20 at the other.

They were in pretty ****ty neighborhoods but they had quality trainers.

Which one did you go to? The original one is a little less expensive and has two rings. Who did you work with?

I don't think there is much more places to find in the area that would be much cheaper.

i think I might have gone to the new one.it was relatively small.

and i know of the gym that clottey goes to in the bronx that's 50 bucks a month.only issue is, that **** is crowded as ****.
