Sweet gloves man, im looking to get a new pair... my reyes gloves are getting old.

For around a hundred dollars, it seems like a great deal.

Question, which do u still prefer... winning or ur new chevlins?

        for what, bag or sparring?

for the bag, shevlin. for sparring, winning. lol i feel bad hitting the bag with winning gloves... they don't make you feel that you're hitting the bag hard, which should be a good thing, but... that's not for my liking

like i said, i like to feel and hear power behind my blows when i hit the bag. the winning are definitely the best gloves around in terms of protection, that's why i use them on my sparring. i plan to spar with both gloves and see what i prefer. when i spar with these glove, i could give you a better answer

Sweet man! I woke up this morning contemplating on whether or not to buy a pair of winnings.

Id probably use them for bag work.

Another question, did I read correctly that they make headgear too?... could they make a winning style headgear?

never asked, but my guess is that they won't

still, it wouldn't hurt to ask though. this is their site: www.shevlinboxing.com. the contact info is in there

Cong**** on your gloves. They look sweet. I also have shevlin's and I still use them from time to time on the bags. They are very bulky on my smaller frame, but they are excellent on the bags! At first I couldn't believe they were 16 ounces.

Do you ever feel like they feel way too bulky?

Can you put a pic up against some other gloves that you have?

well i really don't know about feeling them bulky, since i've only used them twice (got them yesterday) just on the bag

are yours training gloves or bag gloves? mine are 14oz training gloves, so maybe yours are bulkier because they're bag gloves? i dunno, that's my experience with most bag gloves

i'll try to post a few pics tomorrow between them and my pro fight gloves (adidas 8oz). in a few days i'll be able to take one with my 16oz winning, but that'll have to wait 'till next week

Are you a pro fighter? Or really, really good? Not trying to be a smart ass man but if you came to my gym with those things on, people would be trying to KO you.

A little ****y if you ask me but they do look nice. They would be great fight gloves if you could get them approved and had the balls to wear them.

I got the training gloves but I asked Mona to make them 14 ounces and extra stuff them to make them 16 ounces. One glove is as big as my whole head. Not really good for sparring so I just use them for the bags now. I'm thinking of getting some new ones and was wondering if all of them came bulky or it was just how I got mine done.

Those are some fine looking gloves my Man. I've been planning to get some very similar to those, I even drew a sketch and sent it to Shevlin just to see if they could make them. The only difference was mine's had the P.R. flag on the cuff. I may hit you up with a pm when I'm ready to order. Cong**** on those.
