my hands used to swell up all the time but i cut out some padding/cushion, just enough to cover my fists and then i wrap my hands when i train...i dont have too many hand problems anymore... i soak my body in hot water... as hot as i can stand it... with some epson salt and alcohol... usually once a week... i have the type of skin that bruises easy so i try not to get hit... easier said than done lol... my right bicep is bruised from me missing overhand rights and it prolly hits their shoulders and necks... im constantly icing that...

Please ignore everything this ass hole says.
I ice my hands sometimes, when you hit a heavy bag hard they can get a little sore even with the best gloves and 5 pairs of wraps

This guy asked if anyone else iced their hands purely because he was curious. From that you have told him his technique is crap which you have no evidence of at all and that he doesnt know how to wrap his hands, which again is pure BS. Im guessing he hits the bag pretty solidly and naturally his hands arent super hard and he is in fact doing nothing wrong!

Up and comers and professionals both alike have hand problems, and often it has nothing to do with the technique.
Floyd Mayweather technique on the heavy bag is flawless and he has huge hand problems.
Simply assuming the ONLY way someone can have hand problems is by bad technique is not a well thought out idea. You are PUNCHING something SOLID with FORCE, for Christ sake.
