Even if he was hitting the bag properly, those Everlast "wraps" are not meant to be used on their own, as they have very little support for anything other then your knuckles.

RightHooker was not even talking about getting new gloves. If you knew how to read, you would understand that he was giving his opinion on the protection and quality of the everlast advanced hand-wraps, which the majority of people who have used them agree, are not the best alternative to hand-wraps. Have you tried them? If you're not going to offer an opinion on either of the 2 products based on your use of them, then don't bother posting your negative comments.

I've used these for a while, even washed them a few times(Just don't dry them). I will need a new pair soon, and I would buy them if they were double the price. You can wrap your wrist and thumb much better then regular wraps, because you do not have to worry about stacking a ton of wrap on your knuckles. Only time I will not use these is during a fight.
thanks, and thanx to everyone else who contributed. I think Im gonna get the gel wraps.

I also ran into this. anyone try these out? they look like good protection, nothing over the thumb though. Maybe you could use regular wraps over it.

Yea I've got the everlast ones, don't get them if your just going to need them for the heavy bag because they are so tight when you put them in gloves and mine are 14 oz. Exactly what every1 says. I've used mine for only a month and these are pretty good if your lazy to when you need a quick wrap just want to hit the bag without a glove. Or I used them for speed bag pretty good for that but seriously after 1 month these start to tear a bit. I might buy those ringside's look pretty nice.
Well you should take a look at these http://www.ringside.com/Grant-Gel-Ha...ductinfo/GGHW/ I received the fall ringside magazine and these are closeouts at 10 bucks.
