      He missed weight...

My manager said that according to ABC rules, once we step on the scale, the fight becomes official and I'm required to be paid- and my opponent may be disqualified.

I'm not sure right now, but I made it out with my full travel and my facilities in tact, thank the Lord

Opponent missed weight, promoter should owe him some money.

Should is the key word here.

What state was this bout scheduled in?

What was written in the contract that he signed?

I remember when I had my first pro bout at the Palace. I was sent to the promoters office to sign the bout contract. I entered the office, was handed the contract and I sat down and read it all. When I had a question with what I read I asked it. The promoter actually commented to Jackie that he was impressed that I took the time to do that.

Thank you for your time and input!
Pressure and control the pace. Use movement to test their conditioning early, disrupt their rhythm, and exploit potential ring rust. Target their timing with varied attacks and strategic counterpunching. Stay adaptable, adjusting strategies as needed. Maintain a solid defense while being aggressive.

              Fight was scheduled in Indiana.

The contract was blank where the amount I was to be paid if the opponent missed weight.

But there was a lot of blanks on my contract, because the promoter never sent back a signed contract on his behalf.

I have reached out to multiple promoters and commissioners for help with the situation. I even received a reply from Mauricio Sauliman!

              Let's see what happens!

Why would you ever consider signing a contract with 'a lot of blanks'?

You gotta hack that sheet out before you ever sign your name.

So the President of the WBC called you to work out this Indiana club show dilemma?

Sounds like the commission needs to get involved.

I filled out my part, and came to the event, in good faith, that they would fill in the blanks they needed to fill out.

And, it was an email, but yeah, he did. I was surprised!
