    putting on a couples pounds

hi im trying to figure out how i can put on a few more pounds. im 5'8" 125 and id like to get up to around 135-140 but it seems virtually impossible to get over 125. i have crohns disease which makes my metabolism super fast so no matter how much i eat everyday i still wont gain weight. people have told me to try weight gainers but im nervous of the affects on my stomach considering my crohns. if anyone has anything that could help me that would be great thanks!

hmmm...with crohns, Im not sure anyone here could give you good advice. Id ask your Dr if weight gainers are good for you, or a nutritionist. I have no idea if weightgainers would have a negative effect for you, but I wouldnt think so. Better to be safe though..

Well yeah considering you have a disease which affects your metabolism, should be talking to a doctor about this

It'd be perfect for boxing though, you're already a decent weight for boxing

I fight at 126 and I am 5'8, it is a perfect weight class and I could probably make 119 as well. You will have a big size, height, and reach advantage staying where you are at. In this game, we want to get as low as possible. I don't understand all the post lately about wanting to gain weight.
