your hands hurt because you do not wrap your hands properly and you do not hit the bag correctly,if you hands are wrapped the right way and you hit the bag with good combos in the correct manner you could be wearing a pair of winter mitts and not hurt your hands, very rarely does a boxer hurt their hands on a bag,you are probably swing and swatting the bag with open hands and slapping the bag in an uncoordinated motion,i am surprised that only your hands are sore usually you can dislocate your shoulder, his your arm in a sling?
Well for I do wrap my hands properly. If everything you mentioned above was the case then My hands would have always hurt a long time ago. My hands have been getting sore just recently because I think its due to my gloves being worn. I work out 5 days a week. I use same gloves for everything except sparring. I dont slap and actually my form and technique have improved greatly that i feel like im hitting the bag harder.
How do you know how he's hitting the bag and what do you care if the guy wants to get good gloves? He's asking advice on glove brands. Trust me, good gloves make a difference. Hey man-- don't listen to this Prick and go with some Grants, or if yo have the money, most definitely Winning. Now if you're on a budget Ringside IMF tech are decent quality.
I was leaning towards teh grants because well winning is just too expensive at the moment. Its his opinion even though he has never seen me hit the bag. Its all good. I appreciate your help bro. Its seems everyone talks about grant so more than likely I will order these. A couple guys use the grants in or Gym they say they are great i just wanted a more broad opinion.

Your post is moronic. Please don't come in here blaming his problem on bad technique. If your post was the case then all of the top boxers in the world would just hit bags bare handed. I can barely even understand your post anyway so why would I even begin to think it is plausible. The OP may not be as experienced but once your hands go then you cannot box anymore anyway. Protecting them and yourself with good equipment should always be the number 1 priority.
I bought those grant campeon glvoes, they aren't best but I like them. They blow the water out of those cheapy $30 everlast gloves i bought from sports authority
Yeah at this point i kind of wish i shelled out the extra cash for the pro trainings but hey what can you do about it lol. The headgear and cup aren't too bad though
