The first is a bag glove the 2nd is a speed bag glove. Personally I wouldn't buy everlast they dont last long just go to ringside and click bag gloves and find something there at least 20 dollars and lemme know what you picked.

Plus I have the ones on the bottom theres no padding just good if you wanna get your knuckles strong.

        Check these Bag Gloves out:
        hoop://store.titleboxing.com/title-premier-leather-sbg.html

$50.00 and they are exceptionally well made. I have had my pair for over six months {Five days a week heavy bag usuage} and they are excellent.

To comment on the gloves pictured - They are not for heavy bag work. The most important feature in bag gloves are wrist support and padding. Secondary is glove material.

Neither of the gloves pictured will work.

Wow nice gym there you got. I'm getting my slip bag set up but I dont have a doulbe end bag yet. But a better recommendation thats cheaper go with Ringside all the way. http://www.ringside.com/prodinfo.asp?number=TG23 I just got these 2 weeks ago and theyve been excellent especially at half the price i'll guarantee its better then the title ones. But the you still can't go wrong with those premier title ones they look pretty nice.

the top gloves look good with nice padding, the dark gloves look like a pair of mittens with an everlast sticker glued on them

Heavy bag training is overrated, makes you forget about speed and causes redness of the knuckles. Stick to speed ball and you won´t need heavy padding in your gloves, my boxercise gloves do just fine for all my training.

Friend ... I'm not going to come down hard on you for making a statement like that ....But, what I will suggest is that you FIRST do your homework on a topic before talking smack.

Every Boxer and world class trainer the world over disagrees with you ... Go figure.

No, my world class boxercise trainer would disagree with you anyway, and heavybag training is used less frequently nowadays, more emphasis on shadow boxing and lighter skill sparring and speed work, with a little heavy bag work later if at all.
