There are places that allow it, but it also depends on who is willing to spar against you with them.

But also anyone wanting to throw down with sportsmanship and skill. I'm looking for a place where it'd be possible to hold a smoker type event with 10oz gloves. At the gym where I am, it's a no-go. And I imagine the gym owner of any gym might have some reservations about people he or she doesn't know.

Why take the risk?
16oz are fine for work.............Rockin'- No physical health issues
- Must be medically insured
- No more than two minute, four rounds (maybe three minute or six rounds max on special conditions, such as previous experience, etc.)
- Brand new gloves
- Gauze and tape hand wraps according to California commission
- Matchmaking (according to age, weight and skill, with an exception for age in certain situations)
- Referee (to ensure fair play and to stop the fight so there are no heroics if injured).
