    juan diaz training routine

    this is from an old copy of the everlast catalog and thought i would post it since he has great stamina and does not do roadwork.

    monday-600 crunches,bench press,back rows,weighted pullups,tricep dips and reverse bicep-curls finish with 100 pushups.
    one and a half hours on the stair master and 45 min swiming.

    tuesday-5 min warmup abdominal,neck and hip workout
    3 rounds of shadow boxing
    12-15 rounds of bags,pads,sparing and skipping 5 mile stairmaster session.

    wednesday-50 pushups,10 plyometric pushups,3 sets of chinups till failure and a mile and a half swim.

    thursday- same as tuesday

    friday-split stance lunges with 40 pound dumbells and dead lifts. 2 sets of 400 pound legpress, 1 and 1/2 swim.

    saturday-same as tuesday and thursday

    sunday-rest

    Interesting....he does have impressive stamina, but he's never toned. I wonder what he eats.

      well there's a reason houston scores very high on the "fattest cities in the US" rankings from year to year, the food's d@mn good

      but it might also be genetics
      at various points over the last year or two, I've come close to that level of workload (ie when I was on swim team it was 2 to 3 miles a day 4 or 5 days a week), and let's just say I've never been able to drop my nickname.
      my workout partner just looks at weights for a week and he'll drop a pants size or two.

          I don't get it. That's a workout that's sure to make you as fit and toned as can be but Juan Diaz is chubby.

              its probably genitic or he just eats loads of the wrong foods
