  • Need New MouthGuard....

I lost my custom guard about a month ago(The Best) and I cant find it. I got about 20 bucks on me right now, and I don't get payed till 2 weeks, even then I still cant afford the custom mouthguard. So what mouth guard can y'all recommend? I just want something that protects my teeth and jaw good enough, because I need to get back in the ring and kick @ss.

Was looking at getting this one, but not sure.

+1 on the Brain Pad. That 2nd Everlast guard, the 2-in-1, looks good, too, but the breathing hole looks like it might collapse over time. Maybe it's just the picture. Short of a custom piece, you'll want to keep your lower jaw held forward, and a 2-in-1 piece accomplishes this. There are numerous medical reports available -- you can Google them -- pointing to the major cause of concussion and KO in amateur boxing as coming from the back of the lower jaw hitting the skull. A Brain Pad or other double mouthguard eliminates a lot of this.

Sucks you lost your custom piece. Good luck.

How much did your custom guard cost ya? And did you get it through a website or your personal dentist?

ShockDoctor DNA/Nano is the best SD mouthguard.

thx for your input man, am thinking in getting just both, screw it, it will be only 10 bucks extra. Going to try them both out and see which one fits me best.

I got mine through a dentist, cost me around 60 to 70 I think, my mom bought it for me, back when I was 15, I have to ask her( I had to wait a **** load of time to get it though). I customize 2 colors, black with red and it was just awesome. However I need to pay some debt with my incoming check and I wont have a lot of cash left. Maybe later down the road I will buy a customized one again.
