you cant say, oh look at sprinters then look at marathoners. not how it works. fighters have much different cardio needs than a sprinter. also, marathoners dont look like that b/c of what they do. they look like that b/c of the things they do outside of lsd. they dont train for power and **** with weights. they train to be lean and not carry much weight for their own sport. granted you dont need to run as far as they do, but to say if you run 5 miles a day you will be skinny and emaciated is just wrong.

i would spit it up 3 days long runs and 3 days sprints.(sprint run sprint run sprint run) that way u get the best of both without cutting one out as much. and on sprint days just do a mile run.Last edited by _LOAD_THE_LEFT_; 09-09-2009, 02:24 PM.
