Any tips for making daily weight for a 3 day tournament?

What do you eat and what do you do to maintain the same weight for 3 days? Any other advice? Thanks.

Yeah, fight at the weight that you are comfortable at.

If not, then run in the mornings before you weigh-in. Sweat it out. Weigh-in and then replenish your body..............Rockin'

While they certainly help with making weight, I always found myself lacking energy in the bout after using a sauna.........Rockin'

Yeah it makes sense. You lose all your electrolytes and vitamins.

Depends how much you’re cutting mate? Do you just need to shift some water weight between fights or is it an aggressive weight cut for you to make weight?

I used to feel horrible after a sauna, I have asthma though so that doesn’t help in the dry heat.

Eat light, salads, chicken, etc. You should be well under weight for a tournament and it’ll be easy to maintain over the course of the weekend. If you’re a bit over before you step on the official scale, jump rope for a bit with some sweats on. Shouldn’t be a big deal. Cutting weight for a tournament is tough and can be hell. Bring an accurate scale with you in your hotel room.

Me too, when I was trying to get down to a certain weight for the summer.
