      • No, they are not necessary at all.

Go have a pro fight with no amateur experience (no actual boxing experience). I'm sure you'll do fine.

Hmm Ringside made a list in 2003.

          See topic here:

O and Dante, check post #8 in that topic.

Also watch those, opinion of a youtube member but worth the watch.

We all must love Jack Dempsey for his Dempsey Roll
O and Joe Lois and Rocky Marciano, but that is obvious.
(Where the last one has 49 real fights and still unbeaten with 0 losses / 0 draws)

hahah now dante probably thinks he is better and more experienced than Rocky Marciano because he is 50-0(in backyard bum fights though).

            • I looked into this guy and he was challenged by both Charlie Z and Andrew "Kid Thunder" Hartley back in June and ducked them both!

no lol I know professional fights are tougher and 49-0 is damn good but the fact that he named himself after a movie about boxing is pretty lame I think...............

                • Dude, do some research

Rocco Marciano began fighting permanently as a professional boxer on July 12, 1948.

The first Rocky movie is from 1976.

Go back to your Ali movies
Rocky Marciano (September 1, 1923 – August 31, 1969)born Rocco Francis Marchegiano heavyweight champion of the world from 1952 to 1956. Marciano, with forty-nine wins to his credit, remains the only heavyweight champion in boxing history to retire having won every fight in his professional career.
But besides that, this is going offtopic :')

Every time I think I'm done with this thread, it's because I'm convinced that you've said the dumbest thing I've ever read on this board. Then I go back through the thread and find something even dumber. I think this takes the cake, though -- unless you're posting while I'm typing this. So I'll make it quick.

Have you ever been hit by a professional boxer?

                    Yes or no.

I don't care how many pattycake matches you've had, or how many "streetfights" you've had in high school. I'm talking about a professional, money-making, trained boxer, punching you.
