No, side to side head movement is much more dangerous to the brain than backwards forwards.

I think uppercut would do more damage though?

Granted, where you place your punches is important, but I believe that when it comes to scoring knockouts, "when" you places your punches is equally as important as "where." The only KO I've ever scored was a straight right to the solar plexus.

I don't know the stats, but nearly all brain injuries sustained in road traffic accidents are caused by side on collisions.
If you get hit up the rear end then you'll either get whiplash or a bleeding arsehole.

Well you can take shots to the chin straight on but if you get hit by one that hit's your jaw and twists and rattles your brain especially if you don't see it your gonna be screwed.

Ya bar fights with a bunch of swinging drunks isn't the best example but it's one way to KO someone if you watched the video I posted.

I think that hiding them right under the chin, rocking the head back like that and then it shooting forwards again because of your shoulders would be worse?
