    Wrist Problems

Ok so I have the Title GEL lace up gloves. They are ****ing horrible. They messed up my wrist because the hand compartment is a little to big (I dont even have small hands) Also the wrist support wasnt as good as I thought it was gonna be for a lace up glove. They were always lose no matter how tight you tied them. and I didnt like how the the gloves already put your hand in a "fist". It was really uncomfortable and after getting used to it I had to tell myself to make a tight fist or I would just let my hand be lose. I dont know, but they messed up my wrists. So now I can crack my left hand wrist(my lead hand) at will. When I throw hooks and uppercuts in the begining of trainning it hurts so bad but then I guess my blood gets going after 2 or 3 rounds and I dont feel it anymore. And Im pretty sure holding pads isnt doing it any good.
Then after Im done at the gym I go home and its sore and hurts. What should I do? just let it heal for a while? go to a doctor?

    All advice is welcome.
    Thanks

give it 2 or 3 weeks for it to heal. control your punches you probably didnt throw a good punch and it landed bad. it happened to me when i first got my bag and also my friend who hit a bag for first time. went all crazy next day he calls me telling me how his wrist hurts

I developed a similar problem at the beginning of the summer. But i'm pretty sure it was because of my bag, i was using a 300 pounds heavy bag at home. That bag was much bigger in diameter than a normal bag and it made me develop a bad habit, i started "slapping" my right hook without noticing because of how large the bag is. Nobody could tell me because i'm taking the summer off and not going to the gym.

Anyway, at first it tried to ignore it but everytime i landed a hard hook or did push ups i would feel this sharp pain. I realized the bag was the problem and didn't hit the bag for over a month. I mostly focused on strenght traning and shadow boxing with some double end bag thrown in. I would put on a wrist brace when doing push ups and bench pressing, still do.

I went back to my old 175 pounds bag which isn't as big and i started hitting the bag again this week, the pain is gone, but i won't go back to my hold bag because i don't want to injure my hand again.

So yeah, don't hit the bag for a while.

you need to give your hands a break !!! this is very comman problem only way you will get rid of the pain is by givin hands a total break from anything heavy !! ................ no heavy bag!!! sparrin!!! or pads !!!! .......................... stick to massive gloves 16 once ect and use double end bag and work on ya foot work and tecnical stuff ect give it a month !!!! or untile they feel better, then give them a few rounds test drive !!!! if they still hurtin you either need more rest!!!! or need to go see a doc !!!! or could just have little brittal girly hands ala paulie hair cuts :P
