Make sure if you do jog late at night that your adrenaline doesn't get you too amped up to the point where you can't sleep. It doesn't hamper my sleeping but I know quite a few people who can't sleep if they jog late at night.

anyone wake up to an alarm and run in the morning?

I wonder if this is more hurtful than running late at night and sleeping late.
Waking up naturally is big for me, if I want to be at full strength. I hate waking up to an alarm.

To the morning runners in here, do you guys sleep early to wake early? or use an alarm to wake up.

It depends at what time I go to work the next day. I usually go to bed early and would still need the alarm to get up and go running. As a matter of fact, if i slept for 8 hours or more, I end up getting up more tired than sleeping, 6 hours perhaps... weird...

I'd like to hear other people though...
