    lol i'd do that but i want to screw it in..im thinking maybe if I use silicon sealant on a 2x2 on my floor ,let it dry then screw it in

      You'd be better off with an industrial contact adhesive rather than silicon. There's one in the UK called "Sticks Like ***T" which apparently grabs hold and won't move at all. Is there a problem with drilling the floor?

        yeah unless youd happen to have one of those massive construction concrete drills I could borrow

          I bet a standard SDS drill would handle it. You can usually hire them from most hire outlets. I bet you probably even know someone who owns one. I'd lend you mine, but 3000 miles is a long way to borrow a drill If all else fails, get it stuck down.
